Eligibility Criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a national of an EU Member State or an accession or candidate country.
- You need to hold a university degree or in some cases a vocational qualification.
- You must have thorough knowledge of one official EU language and very good knowledge of a second language.
- You must have a clean criminal record.
- You must not have worked more than two months in any EU institution before.
- You must not have done a study visit at the European Parliament Secretariat in the last six months.

- If you are shortlisted you will need to provide supporting documents.
- If selected you will receive an official admission letter by email.
- Spontaneous applications are not accepted. Traineeships start twice a year.
