Eligibility Criteria:

  • You need good skills in Microsoft Office tools and quick learning ability.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of English or French is necessary. Excellent English drafting skills are needed for most positions.
  • Knowledge of other languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish is an advantage.

  • For students in their 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree, or those who graduated less than 2 years ago.
  • Also open to students pursuing an advanced degree who haven’t completed coursework or thesis.

Category II:

  • For students who have completed coursework for an advanced degree but not the thesis.
  • Recent graduates (less than 2 years) with a master’s or higher degree.
  • Also open to those with an advanced degree pursuing further postgraduate studies.

Additional Important Information:

  • A Cover Letter / Letter of Motivation is mandatory.
  • Interns must work full-time (cannot be remote).
  • Interns are responsible for their own travel, visa, and accommodation expenses.
  • Nationals of developing, least developed, or transition countries residing in their home country may be eligible for travel reimbursement (up to 1,500 CHF round trip).
  • This internship is not a guarantee of future employment at WIPO.
